Backwards compatibility is great on Xbox Series X (and Xbox Series S), but interestingly, it resembles the Xbox 360 game Star Wars Unleash the Power has a certain problem that makes people feel a little sick.
Basically, for some people there is a motion blur effect when you turn the camera, which is really not very pleasing to the eye. We’ve seen reports of this several times over the past few months, and here’s a look at the issue in action:
We’ve tried to replicate this problem here at Pure Xbox, but we’ve had no luck. However, the person above is certainly not alone – many people in the comments confirmed they’ve had the same – and it makes the game unplayable.
Is there a solution? Well, many people have advised that there are certain ways to potentially get rid of it (at least temporarily), such as disabling “Auto Low Latency” and “Variable Refresh Rate” in the Settings menu on Xbox, or just pausing and then game, but it seems that there is no permanent solution at this time.
It also appears to have happened in some other games, but The Force Unleashed is the most documented to date.
