The Lord of the Rings: Gollum is delayed until 2022

This summer we checked out the first teaser for The Lord of the Rings: Gollum, Daedalic Entertainment’s license-based action adventure that was originally announced in May 2019. The game was originally planned to be released in 2021, but now it has already slipped further until 2022.

Daedalic Entertainment says (via our international colleagues) that the extra time will allow the game to “take full advantage of the power of the new console generation”. In addition, Nacon has joined as the game’s publisher, which is expected to expand the budget a bit. The Lord of the Rings: Gollum will be released via Steam once it is clear, where we are encouraged to use “sneaking, agility and cunning” to survive and overcome what lies ahead.

Here is last year’s teaser trailer for Lord of the Rings: Gollum.
