Razer has now released the next generation of Orochi which this time is a real lightweight but above all with impressive battery life from a AAA battery.
Time for Razer to update Orochi as you probably figured out now is called Orochi V2 which this time is a gaming mouse of only 60 grams and then it is without battery. It is just batteries that apply and then we can choose either AA or AAA battery, an AA battery weighs about 24 grams while AAA battery weighs 12 grams in addition to the 60 grams that the mouse already weighs.
It is a pretty nice feature to be able to choose the type of battery you choose and at the same time be able to adjust the weight of the mouse. Battery life impresses up to 950 hours on a battery, 950 hours!
But to get up in these hours you also have to choose the “right” wireless connection and here we can choose between 2.4 GHz band via USB dongle, but if you want to get more out, it is Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) that applies, however, if you want to run at 2.4 GHz, the battery life is 425 hours.
Razer Orochi V2 is equipped with an optical sensor that has a resolution of up to 18,000 DPI, we also have six buttons we can program a little how we want.
The Razer Orochi V2 can be purchased now via Razers Website and the price tag is 79.99 euros for standard design (black or white), but you can make your own design and then the price tag is 99.99 euros.
