Gran Turismo 7 patch 1.11 has just been deployed. A redemption update that improves the economy of the game, adds events, but not only.

Polyphony Digital is trying to make up for its mistakes. Shortly after the release of Gran Turismo 7, the latest PlayStation exclusive found itself at the heart of a scandal. The motor racing game has seen its popularity plummet with the introduction of a system that forces aspiring drivers to farmer more than enough to be able to buy new cars. A mechanic that pushed players quite roughly towards microtransactions right after opening the store in-game.

Gran Turismo 7 is full of rewards

Since then, the studio has apologized with a compensation of 1 million credits and the promise of an upcoming rebalancing. Polyphony Digital has just taken a first step in this direction with the deployment of update 1.11. While the patch fixes many technical issues, first and foremost it fixes the economy of Gran Turismo 7. More concretely, players will get more rewards in the last half of World Circuit mode, in daily races and in lobbies.

The number of credits earned in Custom Races and Arcade Mode has also been increased. Also players will now get rewards for finishing circuits with bronze and gold rank. Do not panic, those who have already managed to reach these levels will also walk away with a prize. In addition, the maximum credit limit has been increased

New events and hotfixes aplenty

Less of grind and of farm on the horizon, but that’s not all. Gran Turismo 7 patch 1.11 also introduces new events. On the program, big races at Le Mans, Sardinia and Tokyo. One-hour endurance races have also been added for those who have reached collector level 23. Also, more legendary cars will be offered at the same time during the auction.

The overall physics of the game has been improved and the display of smoke in photo mode has been fixed. Patches have been made to a slew of bugs, both for races, car settings and game audio. In short, a very big patch that could drastically improve the player experience.
