The winners of the Steam Awards 2020 have been announced

During Steam’s winter sale (began on December 22 and ends tomorrow, Tuesday, January 5), Steam users have been able to vote for this year’s Steam Awards, divided into ten manageable categories presented at the end of November (in connection with the autumn sale). And now the 2020 winner has exposed!

Funny enough was chosen Red Dead Redemption 2 to this year’s game (released via Steam on December 5, 2019, but apparently it was still valid), in battle with Hades, Doom Eternal, Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout and Death Stranding. This year’s VR game was unsurprising Half-Life: Alyx, while Counter-Strike: Global Offensive (“Created with love”), Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout (“Better with friends”), Death Stranding (“Most innovative gameplay”), Apex Legends (“Best game you suck at”), Ori and the Will of the Wisps (“Outstanding visual style”), Doom Eternal (“Best soundtrack”) and The Sims 4 (“Sit back and enjoy”) was also awarded. Red Dead Redemption 2 also took home another category in the form of “best game story”. Congratulations Rockstar!
