This is the Surface Pro 8

Microsoft has unveiled its new Surface Pro 8 in connection with its Surface event.

The computer comes with a larger multitouch Pixelsense Flow screen of 13 inches, with narrower edges, 2880 x 1920 resolution and a refresh rate of 120Hz. The screen also supports Dolby Vision and Adaptive Color Technology.

Inside the computer, we find Intel’s 11th-gen Core processors up to the Core i7-1185G7. The memory is at 8, 16 or 32 gigabytes lpdd4x RAM while the storage is at 128, 256, 512 or 1 terabyte. The computer’s cameras have been upgraded with a 10 megapixel rear and a 5 megapixel front with 1080p resolution and sensors that adjust exposure and color.

In addition, the Surface Pro 8 has two Thunderbolt 4 ports and a Surface Connect port. According to Microsoft, the computer can charge the battery up to 80 percent in just over an hour. The total battery life is then 16 hours. The Surface Pro 8 also comes with a brand new keyboard with a special compartment for the new Surface Slim Pen stylus that has up to 4096 levels of pressure sensitivity.

Surface Pro 8 will not come to Sweden until next year. US prices range from 1,100 to 2,600 dollars, corresponding to between approximately 9,520 and 22,500 kronor excluding VAT.
