LEGO sets have always done pretty well when it comes to retail sales, and LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga has been no different. This latest entry in the brick-filled franchise debuts at number one on the UK weekly boxed games chart. In terms of which format is most popular, it’s actually the PlayStation 5 version that takes the largest share at 31 per cent, but the share is split fairly evenly across consoles.
As reported by GamesIndustry.biz, the title has enjoyed the second biggest UK launch this year, beating the impressive launch weekend sales of Elden Ring and Horizon Forbidden West. In fact, it’s the biggest launch of a LEGO game to date, and that’s not including digital sales.
Meanwhile, there has also been some movement further down the top 10. Elden Ring, which was ranked second last week, is now ranked sixth, its lowest position since its release, which is really good. Gran Turismo 7 is also holding up well, holding onto seventh place on the grid. Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands has dropped a bit, dropping from 4th to 11th, and Horizon Forbidden West has also dropped, dropping from 10th to 14th.
Here’s the latest top 10 in its entirety. Remember that this is purely based on physical sales.
